Comments Off on Tetra System for Sale

We have a TETRA system from Motorola which we would like to sell.

These are used by police and security forces worldwide. Some proerty management groups will use them too. These are like walkie talkie radio but they are digital and they have data communications capability.

The system we are selling has 3 cell sites and 200 subscribers. Condition is excellent.

4G (Long Term Evolution LTE) Ready Antenna / RF Components

January 30th, 2010
Comments Off on 4G (Long Term Evolution LTE) Ready Antenna / RF Components

DragonTECH is

4G

Sounds Long Term, LTE is really round the corner, there are already existing comemrcial networks launched and surely there will be more with new markets for high speed data driving multi-media applications like You Tube and Facebook. Let’s take a look at the challenges posted to antenna systems.

New Frequency Bands for 4G

LTE supports flexible carrier bandwidths from 1.4MHz up to 20MHz, in many spectrum bands and for both FDD and TDD.

This means an operator can introduce LTE in both new and existing bands, for example, 2.6GHz (Band 7), Advanced Wireless Service (AWS) (Band 4), or 700MHz bands.

Unlike other earlier cellular systems, LTE will be quickly deployed on multiple bands. Click here to see Verizon’s Band.

Todate, this is a broad summary (click to enlarge):

LTE Frequency

Is my DAS really ‘Future-proof’ for 4G?

This post a challenge to the existing Distributred Antenna systems (DAS) which ‘flexibly’ supports 800 – 2500 MHz. This was good enough at the 2G times, so that DAS deployed back then are ‘future-proof’ for 3G systems.

It worked well until now.

4G will now definitely spread from 700 to 2700 MHz, rendering the existing DAS system vulnerable should the local regulator mandates the use of 700 or 2600MHz.

Challenges for RAN (Radio Access Network)

For the Network Operators, your mobile subscribers are adopting 3G services but the traditional 2G subscriber base keeps growing too. You face the need to expand both network layers for more capacity and coverage to improve both the quality of service and availability. And with the onset of LTE, you must further develop your networks and rationalize your investments to deliver profitable services.

All these calls for a Converged RAN that can support from 700MHz to 2700MHz.

DragonTECH has a solution

As an industry leader, DragonTECH has developed a series of  RF components and antenna to resolve this issue. These can be used for any DAS build for 2G / 3G now and the customer is ensured a smooth upgrade path to 4G in the very near future.

DragonTECH QMA Connectors

September 5th, 2009
Comments Off on DragonTECH QMA Connectors

Recently a lot of customers asked for QMA connectors and jumper cables.

Save MaQMA connector crimp straight typeting Time

QMA or Quick Lock SMA connectors enable fast and easy matings. It is a good alternative to SMA dna N type connectors. It uses a Snap-on mechanism to allow matings to be fast and secure. It is secure through a chamfer with a click sound during a positive mating.

The DragonTECH QMA connectors are tested against shock and multiple matings. Below is the straight type.

Save Space

QMA connectors have a lower space requirement because the use of a wrench is not needed here. In addition, the small size and the distance between connectors can be optimised on the equipment panel.

Below is the DragonTECH QMA Righ-angled connector.

We will supply Jumper Cable Assembly with RG223 cable.

New SES

We are changing with the world. Having introduced our Smart Elevator Solution SES we proudly introduce our new generation product.

IMG_9344Integrated Antenna

We have integrated it with an internal built-in service antenna. This gives extra space savings inside Lift Cars and make it easy to install.

Install Inside Lift Cars – Easy Maintainenance

Our first generation SES was to be installed on top of lift cars. The stylish casing of the new SES allows you to install it  inside. This makes it much easier for maintenance as access is now easily possible without interrupting lift services.

This new generation SES marks the innovation effort we continuously made.

Multiband

We still maintain single band and multi band options for normal bands Tetra / CDMA / GSM / DCS / PCS / WCDMA.

Auto Setup / Diagnostics

Upon power up, the unit runs self diagnostics for apporpriate donor signal and the fully auto ALC will adjust output power to a level optimum for performance.

Please contact us for details.
