How Does It Work?

PicoDAS works as a bridge between the BTS and mobiles. It picks up the strongest signal from BTS via the Donor Antenna, linearly amplifies the signal and then retransmits it via the Distribution Antenna System to the weak/blind coverage.

PicoDAS marries the benefits of the repeater and pico-cell solutions. If signal coverage is required then the DAS can be connected to the indoor port of our PicoDAS.

Auto Setup No Installation Required

PicoDAS provides an affordable solution to solve the indoor signal coverage problems due to signal fading and attenuation caused by architecture obstacles. And its easy installation and maintenance can help normal users setup without the need of an expensive engineer and the mobile signal is also amplified and retransmitted to the BTS via the opposite direction.

The ALC circuitry constantly monitor and adjusts power levels to optimise performance. It will shut down the Downlink when no users are present, so no noise interference is allowed to the BTS and an optimum RF path is provided as needed.

Built-in Antenna

Our latest model comes with innovation. The service antenna comes built-in in the white unit so you DO NOT NEED TO INSTALL ANTENNA. Once it is powered up, the auto-setup and diagnostics procedures are initiated and automatically sets the unit to operational condition. With the built-in antenna, service is provided instantaneously without involvement from an enginner nor the Network operator.
